Honeyglass Jewelry

The Honeyglass line is special to me. It is the product of years of research and discovery.  Like most things on my website it starts with my pure gold and silver honeycomb murrine.  I start by slicing a coin from a murrine cane, then I shape the slice by hand on a diamond plate. Small batches of these shaped slices are tumbled in multiple stages lasting 40 days in total to achieve a smooth, rounded edge. Each piece is then hand polished to shine. Solder the sterling silver finishes and the journey is complete a couple of months after it started.  The result is small batches of unique, elegant glass jewelry that will stand up to daily wear. 

Honey Jewels differ from Honeyglass in that they are made from thicker pieces of honeycomb murrine and have not been through the tumbling process.  They feature a deeper dimensional pattern display and sharper beveled edges for a more dramatic jewel-like appearance.
